SWITCH MODE POWER SUPPLIES (SMPS) The Switch Mode Power Supply uses the technology based on high frequency PWM switching. The SMPS transforms the mains AC voltage into DC voltage by means of filtering, rectification, DC/DC conversion and digital regulation control. On equipment fitted with back up groups (autonomy), and to assure the maximum reliability and system self-protection, one static switch disconnects the battery source once the cut-off voltage is reached, after a discharge process. INVERTERS These equipment rectify a DC input into AC output voltage. The PWM is the technology used on the Inverters to obtain, after filtering, a sine wave voltage out of a DC supply. Two versions are manufactured: Inverters with sine-wave output or pseudo step-wave. |
| The inverters of the series IS and ISC are high reliability DC/AC converters based on the PWM technology. As a result of their high efficiency, low distortion (IS) and advanced stability, they exceed by far the features of the most widely used conventional inverters. |
